If you've been following along with the lines of power and the light accelerator game in both Jamaa Township and the Temple of Zios you might know that a new area has just opened up under the Zios Statue in the temple of Zios. This new area is called crystallis.
In Crystallis there was an upper room with a weird symbol of Mira. It seemed to be linked with the new Alpha Crystals.
Earlier today December 13th the 1,000th Alpha Crystal Piece was found and a wishing well appeared. The wishing well can be activated with wishing coins.
What are wishing coins?
Wishing coins first appeared this week and were dropped by Owlbert. They can be used to get a pet unicorn from the wishing well, or to grow up a fantasy pet. Wishing coins can now be purchased through the premium store, bought from the my-shop explorer, or traded for.

How to get a Pet Unicorn
Click on the symbol over the wishing fountain
Select “I wish for a Pet Unicorn”
It costs one wishing coin for a pet unicorn, if you want to customize their features it costs one more coin for each feature you want to customize, like Color, Eye Color, Eye Shape, Tail, Mane, and Horn.
Colors are chosen from a selection of color pallets, and you’ll receive random colors from within the pallet. Eyes can be chosen with or without eyelashes.
Once you’ve chosen all (or none) of the features you want to customize click: Make a Wish
It will give you a heads up that the process is “unpredictable” and that the Wishing Well might surprise you with something “a little different” than what you wished for.
Congratulations, you have an adorable pet unicorn! Now you might be saying: But how do I make it a playable avatar?
Growing up your pet unicorn
Luckily this process is quite easy, your pet doesn’t even need to be level 5! All it will cost you is one more wishing coin. However, if you don’t want to use another wishing coin, it can be grown up at Level 5 like the archosaurs.
Head back to the wishing fountain and click the symbol on the top
This time select “I wish to grow up my Fantasy Pet”
Select the Pet you wish to grow up
Make your wish again and you’re all set!
Rare, Epic and Legendary Unicorns
Unicorns can have traits that can’t be determined via wishing, and are instead entirely random. These random traits, if present, will make your unicorn either rare, epic, or legendary! One unicorn can have multiple rare+ traits, but higher rarities take priority with their special tag. Some of the special traits a unicorn can have is being smaller or larger than average, a special horn, or be part of a twin set. They can even have galaxy, sapphire, and lightside and darkside effects! Below is a comprehensive table of rare+ unicorn traits:
(Note: The Epic version of the Galaxy, Sapphire, Darkside, and Lightside effects only covers the mane, horn, and tail. Not the body. The Legendary version of those effects will cover the entire unicorn!)
