Happy July, Jammers, it’s Faeriesweetie here! I am thrilled to share the long-awaited July update has finally arrived to Jamaa with a touch of nostalgia, and I can't wait to dive in to all this month has to offer!
First off, let's talk about the much-anticipated arrival of the adorable opossums! These little critters have captured the hearts of Jammers everywhere with their undeniable cuteness. Just take a moment to appreciate how their tails curl up into adorable curly cues. Here are a few pictures of one from side and forward angles:
The opossums also come with two jammerific clothing sets, if you choose to purchase the bundle for 250 sapphires: the Architect’s Outfit, and the Chess Outfit! I love the effects they added to each new clothing set. The Chess Outfit has little chess pieces floating off my character, and the Architect’s Outfit has a few sparkles and what seems to be compasses drawing circles floating around. How awesome!
Onto the most exciting part of the update for many Jammers, with some serious nostalgia overload… the new and revamped “Treasure Hunt” game! Similar to the “Treasure Hunt" game we all knew and loved, but was changed to the daily spin and calendar rewards in 2020, this new game introduces a captivating puzzle-like twist. I personally find this game a bit perplexing, but I'll eventually get the hang of it! Check out L30ra’s helpful post on how to correctly play.
Here’s an image of the game! It’s about using the numbers on the sides as clues as to which boxes to unlock. You earn prizes based off of the difficulty, but you can only make three mistakes!
Of course, the pack run theme has been updated to a more appropriate theme for the summer, “Crab-A-Rama”! I find pack runs very relaxing, and can’t wait to delve into a few of these with a theme perfectly suited for the sandy vibes of summer. The new update has also provided a couple of new bundles: a token pet eye swap potion bundle, and a big potion bundle!
Also teased in the Jamaa Journal was a bundle featuring every wolf variant in the game, although the page was removed shortly after the update released. It’s believed that it’ll be releasing later in the month. I’m personally excited for this one, I think the dire wolves and the maned wolf have such a cool, unique look.
Speaking of content yet to release, there’s a few teased updates coming that look exciting as well. Sweet little pet foxes will make an appearance in a few days, as well as an epic sandcastle den bundle; I am just loving the summer vibes this bundle is giving off, it'll be so fun to decorate with a summer themed den item bundle! You can find out exactly when they’ll be coming to Jamaa from the calendar in the Sapphire Shop.
