Did you know that there is a crazy new contest and much, much more in Animal Jam? Recently AJHQ brought us the April 2021 update and this came with lots of amazing new features to the game!
A brand new contest!
Accessory contest! This is a fun new in-game contest hosted by AJHQ to bring out the creativity in all of us and a chance to have some fun. You can enter this contest through The Paining Activity or Masterblocks and submit your entry in-game through a special button. The Jamaa Journal holds more information but read on to see what you have to do!
The aim is to create a brand new accessory using The Painting Activity or Masterblocks and the winning designs will be turned into real accessories to be worn and shown off across Jamaa. Not to mention the item will be named after you! Everyone should enter as this is a chance to get creative and show your talent as unique entries will always stand out. This contest ends by the end of April so we all have lots of time to think up some designs and create them on Animal Jam. You can submit your entry by clicking a small trophy button and then submitting it to Animal Jam. Remember to take your time on your entries and try to be as authentic as possible! All jammers are so excited to see some new fashion around Animal Jam!
The Jamaa Exploratorium
The April 2021 update also opened one of the old buildings within Appondale into… a Jamaa Exploratorium! This is a new conservation museum made to help everyone learn about the environment and particular the work that Wildworks are doing with WeForest to help grow forests around the world. There are some beautiful photos and a showcase of some artworks from some talented jammers there, and it is a very nice place to hang out with your buddies and learn!
Maine coons
As well as that, a brand new cat has been added to Animal Jam! Maine Coons have arrived to Animal Jam. Did you know that Maine Coons are some of the biggest domesticated cats? I guess you could say that this animal is simply purrrfect! They are available in the sapphire shop to buy or alternatively, the new bundle - the classy Maine coon cat bundle if you want to show some style!
Rain, rain, rain
Another thing to watch out for is the passing April Showers around Jamaa which can bring beautiful flowers that give prizes when they are in full bloom. So keep a look out for passing rains around Jamaa. You just might need to take an umbrella though!
