Warning! Bots in Animal Jam Classic!

Welcome Jammers, it’s Antsrulez with an important article about the recent surge in users coming across what appears to be automated bots taking over the different servers in Animal Jam Classic. Here is the rundown of what’s going on and what you can do to help!

What do I need to know?

These bots are automated. However, the intentions of these bots are unclear. If you spot anything suspicious, be sure to utilise the in-game reporting features to maximise the action taken on these bots.

What has AJHQ said about it?

I reached out to AJHQ for a comment, and they have said as a message to the team, to ensure your account is kept safe during this surge. It was commented that Jammers need to do both of the following:

  1. Keep trades limited to buddies only.

  2. Turn on two-factor authentication.

What else can I do to keep myself safe?

There are numerous ways to keep yourself safe in Animal Jam Classic, especially when it comes to keeping safe around the bots, these can also apply to Animal Jam Play Wild. You can:

  1. Have a complex password.

  2. Only buddy the Jammers you know.

  3. Only engage with your buddies.

  4. Change your password regularly.

  5. Don’t share your password with others.

  6. If you come across a server with bots, report them and move to a different server.

Make sure to jam safely and follow the relevant steps if you are unsure of what you need to do in order to keep yourself safe.
