Let's first start off with the OG, Animal Jam Classic! Animal Jam Classic is a 2D game that can only be played on PC or browser via flash (until the end of 2020). Animal Jam Classic was released for beta in late 2010, and the beta stage then ended in 2011. The game is very successful, with 300,000,000 accounts being registered!

-Animal Jam Classic has 4 different ocean lands while Animal Jam has none. Animal Jam Classic also has exclusive underwater-only animals which Animal Jam cannot make due to having no underwater lands.
-Animal Jam Classic has a bigger difference between Members and Non members than Animal Jam. In Animal Jam Classic a lot of clothing and den items are members only, along with Animals and dens. In Animal Jam, there are no member exclusive animals or dens and there are few members only items.

The game used to be called Play Wild, but was changed in May 2020 because of the game’s continuing increase in popularity.

Big Features-One of Animal Jam’s biggest features are packs which Animal Jam Classic doesn't have. Instead Animal Jam Classic has adventures. Packs are currently members only.
-Animal Jam has the phantom dimension which can also be seen as similar to the adventures in Animal Jam Classic.
-Animal Jam can be played on Mobile and PC.
-Animal Jam has a volcano land called Moku’ Ahi.
-Animal Jam has a feature called Materblocks, when you can create items.

Animal Jam Classic and Animal Jam might have a lot of differences, but in the end, they are equally as good games. They are both made by Wildworks, and they are both enjoyable to play. Their differences don’t matter, as they are both successful games. They will continue to be for years.
