The 2023 August update for Animal Jam is now here! There are some amazing new things coming to the game, and I am here to show you!
Asiatic Lion
The new animal this month is the Asiatic Lion! Some facts about this wonderful animal are that they are sadly endangered due to human poaching throughout many centuries. By 1910 there were less than 20 left; but their numbers continue to recover as they are rescued and allowed to thrive freely!
AJHQ announced on their Instagram page on July 26th that these lions were coming to Animal Jam!
Cat Pride Bundle
There is a new bundle in the premium shop! This bundle includes the Asiatic Lion, Cheetah, Cougar, Siamese Cat, Sabertooth Tiger, and Lynx!
Animal Jam’s 8th Birthday!
Animal Jam turns 8 this year! Just like every year there is the birthday party, with its own custom cake that only costs 8 sapphires!
Pack Run - Shellstravaganza
This month’s pack run is the Shellstravaganza!
Dollhouse Den
Although this den is not currently in Animal Jam, if you go to the map by clicking the Earth icon, and then clicking the castle icon, at the top of the epic dens list, you can see the den itself decorated by AJHQ!

Octopus Pet
This month’s brand new pet is the Octopus! Did you know these cool creatures have not one, not two, but THREE hearts? They also have the ability to regrow their limbs, and when threatened they will shoot out a dark, gloomy black ink to protect themselves!
