What Happened to the Classic Jambassadors?

Many of us who grew up with Animal Jam Classic remember watching YouTubers, be it for the guides they made or the fun updates, they’ll always be known as legends of the community. But what happened to them? Who’s still making videos, and if not, what did they do after they quit? Read on to find out…

Note: We are counting original Jambassadors as those who received the Jambassador plaque in the first wave of recruitment.

ANIMALJAMMER330 / WOLFFEYCAT / LAUREN

Known as Lauren, Wolffeycat, and AnimalJammer330, she is known for her adventure guides, update videos, occasional vlogs and real-life crossovers.

Her “Legacy” video (most-viewed) is an Animal Jam Music Video for Miley Cirus’ Wrecking Ball, posted in September of 2013. Not only is this video her most viewed, but holds the title for THE most viewed Animal Jam video made by a Jammer in history, counting at over 2.56 MILLION views.

Lauren never officially quit, but her last video can be found here. We reached out and asked if she had a message for the community, and she did! Here’s her note to all the beloved fans who may stumble across this article:

Hi! This is Lauren from Animaljammer330 (formerly lol), I’ve been studying over at UCLA, majoring in Political Science and have absolutely loved it here. My life has changed a lot since my Animal Jam days, but also in many ways not LOL. I’m still that same wolffeycat/animaljammer330/lauren/how ever you knew me, just 20 and hopefully a lil wiser (the AJ community left me with many lessons learned lmao). My time on YouTube really meant so much to me, it’s become a part of my identity that I’m really proud of and equally grateful for. All of you in the AJ community were like the highlight of my life in high school, and I look back at my time on YouTube with a lot of nostalgia. Truly a sincerest thank you to everyone who watched my stuff as kids and to those who come around every once and a while to DM me ❤️

AND MY FRIENDS, very glad for the relationships I’ve kept with me from Animal Jam :,) I don’t know exactly what my future plans are, maybe something in government, public health, we’ll see. Plan B is be an “entrepreneur,” but for now I’m a poor college student 🤓 Thanks for all the good times, and thanks for WATCHING, LOVE YOU ALL 🥴❤️

- Lauren

Though she’s stopped making videos, she maintains a public Instagram account open to the AJ community to follow!

Aparri.png

APARRI

Aparri was the most-subscribed to Jambassador then and holds that title to this day, with over 300k subscribers. Early on, he was known for his trading and rare videos, updates, and even interviewed MightySquad, and later collaborated with many big YouTubers like Skorm and Wisteriamoon.

His Legacy video is “SONGS IN ANIMAL JAM!!”, released in June of 2015, is the second most viewed Animal Jam (Jammer-made) YouTube video in history at 2.3M views.

Please watch the full video. I love you guys ❤️ - My SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/freivo - My Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/freivo/

After nearly 5 years of Animal Jam YouTube, Aparri quit in December of 2018, releasing this video, but later created a follow-up in August of 2019 to address unanswered questions. The video also addresses his reasons for leaving; the dying YouTube culture, outgrowing the game, and loss of passion. He has since moved on to build his music career outside the Animal Jam community.

Bepper.png

BEPPER

Known for her wide variety of Animal Jam videos, from testing myths to drawing in the Classic Paint Studio, her content will always stand out among the community.

Bepper’s Legacy video, oddly, is her video about the history and personal accounts of Fman122.

As of the release of this article, Bepper has not quit! She continues to make Animal Jam (Classic) videos as well as occasional Fer.al content.

Gellyjones.png

GELLYJONES

Gellyjones will forever be known as one of the most creative YouTubers, producing in-game skits, series, and often featured her own artwork and animations in thumbnails, making her content truly stand out in the recommendations feed.

Released in January of 2017, her Legacy video is a skit poking fun at the original Alphas.

GellyJones posted her quitting video on January 4th, 2019, saying goodbye to the old community.

It's sad, but it's official. I've decided to retire the 'ol shades and samurai swords. Thank you all so much for the support over the years, I will literally...

Jones has since moved on to college and create digital art outside of the Animal Jam community.

We tried contacting Jones about a message to the community, and while they showed interest, we could not get a reply back in time. When we get a response, we’ll be sure to update this post!

Sethyy.png

SETHYY

Sethyy, previously known as MyMomIsCool, created real-life skits about the community and all its happenings as well as in-game content.

Posted January 1st, 2017, Sethyy’s Legacy video is titled “I SHIPPED MYSELF TO APARRI'S PO BOX! (ANIMAL JAM) 2017!” and honestly I’ve never been hit with so much nostalgia.

Sethyy never released a quitting video, but last uploaded in June of 2018. His latest activity has been on Instagram, where he posted in January of 2019. We were not able to contact him to follow up.

Hi there! Thanks Elvis3480 for reaching out to me and giving me this opportunity to share what I have been up to on the Animal Jam Archives.

I’ve been so busy with college lately, it’s almost impossible to balance a life and college, on top of that I work a part time job. My life hasn’t been all that interesting lately due to the amount of school work assigned, but when I have the opportunity I am of course travelling to places I love to explore, one of my top choices being California where I have many friends I can visit I’ve met over the years of playing Animal Jam.

When it comes to my channel, I don’t have any big things planned currently because I am so focused on my education and working towards getting my degree in a bachelor of science in nursing. My channel right now is just whenever I have some spare time outside of my school work & social life when I can make a quick little video to say hi to my amazing followers/friends.

Additionally, she actively posts on her Instagram for Animal Jam and her second public account.

Wisteriamoon.png

WISTERIAMOON

WisteriaMOON is known for posting reviews and update videos with occasional other games (such as Transformice).

WisteriaMoon’s Legacy video is her heartbreaking short film and music video, Brave, with nearly 1.46 million views.

Wisteria quit Animal Jam in November of 2019 due to COPPA’s lawsuit against YouTube and addressed the issue in this video. However, she continues to make gaming videos on WisteriaMoon, most notably on Wildworks’ new game Fer.al, however she said she’d be branching out to other games in the coming months.

Additionally, she actively uploads videos to her second vlog channel, WisteriaLife.
