Phantom Dodger Minigame Guide

Hey, Jammers! Today, I’m here to guide you on the Animal Jam (formerly known as Play Wild) minigame, Phantom Dodger. This minigame can be quite tricky at first, but once you know the basics, you’ll be a Phantom Dodger Master! Now without further ado, let’s get into the guide!

The minigame can be found in the land, Mt. Shiveer. Your goal is to work your way around the constantly moving phantoms. You MUST keep your finger on the screen at all times. Every once in a while, gems appear on the screen. You can move your finger over these gems to earn… well, gems!

Each Phantom and What It Does:

Spiky Phantom- The Spiky Phantoms are the least of your worries, as they move in a circular pattern that is easy to get around. Typically, the circles they travel in overlap, one circle surrounds another, or are next to each other. The circles themselves are stationary, even though the phantoms following the pattern are moving.

Biggie- Biggie Phantoms are the second most difficult to avoid. They are either acting as an obstacle inside the Spiky Phantom circles, or moving in straight lines. The lines they travel in are always grouped together. Getting past the Biggie Phantom lines always requires planning ahead. Observe the pattern in which they are travelling, then find the best path to take.

Sentry- The Sentry is by far the most difficult phantom to avoid. The Sentry has a laser beam that can block up to ¾ of the path. The Sentry can have up to four lasers at once. It is crucial that you plan ahead, for the path will get extremely narrow. Wait for a wide opening in the path so that you don’t get hit.

Extra Information:

Every 50 meters there is a “checkpoint” that grants you gems. To earn a few extra gems, you can move your finger over the gem icons scattered throughout the path.

Much like Escape The Phantoms, (and every other minigame) you can earn sapphires! The more distance you cover, the more sapphires you will earn! Just click the minigames tab, then click the sapphire icon on the right hand side.

That’s all for today’s article! I hope you found these tips, tricks and facts helpful. What minigames do you want to be featured next? Leave us a comment! With all that being said, I will see y’all next week. Bye!
