Interview with Lovewithsongz!

Hey guys! It’s Relays here, back with another post. Today, I will be doing an interview with Nutelli! I hope all of you guys enjoy.

Question 1: How did you feel when you opened the letter from AJHQ announcing you where becoming a Jambassador?

Lovewithsongz: I was so so SO excited! I was sitting on the couch and I had to check my email to reset my password for something, when I saw the email I was shocked!

Question 2: When did you first start playing AJ?

Lovewithsongz: I started playing animal jam in December of 2012 when my friend Rachel from church recommended it to me

Question 3: What was your first username?

Lovewithsongz: My first username was actually Lovewithsongs with an s. This account was banned though because my mom filed a paypal dispute against Animal Jam back in 2013 because she wanted to cancel my membership subscription. This is against the animal jam rules, so they banned my account :(

Question 4: What made you want to start creating AJ videos?

Lovewithsongz: I wanted to be just like Julian2... in the beginning I even copied everything he said in his videos. It’s super embarrassing.

Question 5: Ok, last question. What was your most EMBARRASSING AJ moment?

Lovewithsongz: I can’t really remember anything super embarrassing! I guess my old “hyper” videos from when I was 10 and 11

Thank you so much for letting us interview you Love!

Decorating DIYs #1

Hello! I’m KingJamaa, and today I’m going to be releasing my brand new segment, Decorating DIYs. Every two weeks, I’ll be back with another denception, full den, or den snippet and showing you how to make one of you’re own. Today, we’ll be exploring the nature bungalow!

IMG_5157.JPG

This creation was made in the grassy area of the enchanted hollow den. Epic Jamaaliday trees and boomseed trees line the sides, and a giant pond situates itself here as well. I took on a green, yellow, and white theme for this den, and I think it looks very well situated.

If you’d like to make one of your own,  my advice is to experiment! Use a lot of different plants, but make sure they keep your theme. Lanterns and lights are must, as well! I used a standard lantern, some underwater lanterns, and light strands.

Anyways, that’ll be it for this week! Play wild, everyone.

Interview with NUTELLI!

Hey guys! It’s Relays here, back with another post. Today, I will be doing an interview with Nutelli! I hope all of you guys enjoy.

Question 1: How did you find out about Animal Jam?

Nutelli: I saw an advertisement on YouTube or MoshiMonsters. When I was younger, I loved playing games like Club Penguin, so I would often try out random games. I’ve played Animal Jam for over 5 years! Which is insane.

Question 2: who is your most favorite AJ YouTuber, and why?

Nutelli: Typicalrocky. Honestly when ever I ask for advice, she goes gives the best possible answers. No matter what I ask he she will help. She's very talented, and in general a very sweet and caring person.

Question 3: What is your most EMBARRASSING Animal Jam moment?

Nutelli: Ok well, this is really embarrassing for me but… basically one day, I was about to livestream on my channel, and I was setting up everything while humming to some random songs, and turns out, my stream was on for a solid 5 minutes and EVERYONE was listening to me sing!

Question 4: How did you come up with your username?

Nutelli: I used to have a really long channel name, so during a lifestream, I asked my viewers if they have any short user ideas, preferably starting with “Nutell”, and somebody said Nutelli!

Thank you so much for letting us interview you nucelli!

Jammer Looks Showcase #1

Hey jammers! Yellow here. Today I’ll be starting off a new series of posts on the blog all about YOU GUYS! These outfits were submitted to our Discord server in the #jammer-looks channel, and are some of our favorites we’ve seen.

If you would like to be credited, please contact Yellow on Discord.

If you would like to be credited, please contact Yellow on Discord.

This first outfit looks really cute! Lynxes are really good at being small and adorable. I think my favorite part about this outfit is the shoes though. Normally, I hate putting shoe items on animals, but I think that this outfit did it well.

If you would like to be credited, please contact Yellow on Discord.

Next up is this nice nonmember pig outfit! The fox hat and socks really go well together, and I like seeing items like the slingshot that don’t get a ton of use. If you want to stand out in a crowd wear something different than the norm.

If you would like to be credited, please contact Yellow on Discord.

And finally, we have this look on one of the new legendary eagles! It seems that they’ve glitched the color of their pattern though! Sticking with the very bold black, white, and magenta, looks really nice.

That’s all for this post. I’ll be continuing this series soon with another set of three outfits. Happy jamming everyone!

5 Things in AJ to do to keep the New Year Interesting!

Play Wild Guide for Beginners

Hey jammers! Yellow here. Today I’ve got another guide for you all about Play Wild. This is a continuation with our series of guides on the Play Wild Steam community, so check it out by clicking here!

Yellow's Top 10 Animals in AJ

Choosing an animal to play as can be a daunting task. There's a lot of options. For me though, I've narrowed down a list of my favorite animals I come back to again and again. This is my top ten animals to play as in Animal Jam!

[Quiz] Which nonmember animal are you?

Six Winter Den Tips!

Hey there! My name is KingJamaa, and today I’ll be showcasing six of the den designs I’ve incorporated into my Jamaaliday den (you can come see the full den if you’d like- my username is Cheetah87516 and my den is normally always unlocked) as well as showing how you can make them and some nonmember approaches to the designs! Without further ado, how about we get started?

IMG_3849.PNG

I’ve created a small little living room for our first room. The fireplace is made out of two fireplaces, and the centerpiece is of two different items. When creating these layered item setups, make sure your items don’t flicker their overlaying point. By this, I mean the moment when an item is placed on top of another item then it overlays under it once it’s stayed there for a while. You might have to put the item slightly to make them overlap, but with some precise placing and some patience it can all work.

For nonmembers who don’t have access to the fireplaces (which are for sale in Epic Wonders and Jam Mart Furniture), you can purchase a standard fireplace from the Diamond Shop and decorate it with holly, poinsettias, or any item you think would look good with the overall look. As for the centerpiece, everything for that (the Jamaaliday Pet Tree and Snowman Centerpiece) are all nonmember and are located in Jam Mart Furniture.

IMG_3850.PNG

My next decoration features a cozy bedroom and a lively Jamaaliday tree. You can basically use any table, couch, fence, and pillow for the bed, and I added a little plushie for decoration and because a pillow couldn’t overlay on top of the couch. My window design consists of the Candy Cane Window and Wreath Clock, and don’t fret if you get that overlay flicker I mentioned above– just experiment with the placement!

The tree can be made out of any tree item, and there are some neat ones for all Jammers, as well. I decided to add a star to the top with a sea star I found in Sunken Treasures, and placed presents down at the bottom. The potted holly near the bed has a gift lamp underneath it, as well, providing a bit of light to the room.

IMG_3851.PNG

This design is mostly nonmember, which I like. The only thing for members are the lanterns and shovel, but everything else can either be bought in stores or obtainable from the calendar. I’ve used some symmetry techniques for the window area, and covered the blank space with a tall hedge (which is an alternative to a Jamaaliday tree) and a large holly planter. The gingerbread set can be bought in Outback Imports, and I just used them for the windows and fences.

IMG_3852.PNG

The fourth idea I had was a nice fountain area that’s made with two fountains (one is member, one isn’t) as well as a gingerbread Mira statue and a tall hedge. I also used the chocolate fountains for decoration. One was placed next to the Mira, and the second was placed under the hedge for a little base since the other fountain hides the trunk of the tree.

IMG_3853.PNG

I’ve made another fountain design, however this one is larger and more icy than the last. There’s a frozen koi pond and frozen fountain, both of which could be purchased at this year’s Jamaalidays in July weekend sale. I added frosting icicles and frozen ponds to add a more frosty look, and a Snowman Centerpiece to fill up an empty spot.

IMG_3913.PNG

My final design is a sleigh concept that I liked. It’s made of a gift sleigh, dog sled, and four pet reindeer. I decided to do this instead of a regular sleigh for many reasons, one of which was me not having the Rare Item Monday sleigh and because it would most likely not fit in with the aesthetic of my den. By doing the design I have here, I used up roof space as well as kept the soft color scheme I’ve taken and complimented the rainbow colors of the gumdrops and presents at the tree.

Anyways, that’s pretty much it. I’ll see you all next time! Have a happy and safe Jamaalidays and new year. Play wild!
